AI with a clear job to do.

We apply artificial intelligence when it helps address a specific need. The first question is which work should improve, with what information and under which controls; then we decide how to incorporate it into operations.

Choose the application for its usefulness.

AI can support document understanding, content generation, scenario analysis and execution capacity. It can also form part of tools, assistants or agents connected to data and systems. Scope is defined by the task and the outcome worth evaluating.

Separate suggestions, validation and decisions.

A model response does not automatically replace a business rule or an authorization. We define what the tool may suggest, what needs verification and who makes the decision. Human involvement depends on the process and the consequences of an incorrect response.

  • The application’s task and users.
  • Data, permissions and systems involved.
  • Criteria for reviewing quality and usefulness.

Prepare data and access.

Business and IT help identify available information, restrictions and owners. Data quality and permissions are part of the design. Access to all company information or the ability to act on systems without agreed authorization is not assumed.

Evaluate within the actual process.

Tests should compare the application’s usefulness with the agreed need. In reconciliation, for example, document reading suggests matches, rules verify amounts and references, and collections approves before the ERP is updated. This example illustrates responsibilities; it does not verify implementation results.

Define what the project includes.

The proposal specifies the task, integration, controls, deliveries and acceptance. Documentation, training and go-live are agreed according to scope. We do not promise absolute accuracy or automation of every decision. Ongoing operations and support are contracted separately.

Questions before we begin

Do we need to start with an agent?

No. We first define the work and evaluate the solution that makes sense. It may be a supporting tool, an assistant or an agent, depending on the need and controls.

Can AI update our systems?

Permitted actions are defined with IT and the process owners. When approval is required, that decision must remain in place before an update is made.

How will we know whether it adds value?

We agree on a way to evaluate usefulness and quality within operations. The initial assessment is focused; in-depth research or technical testing is quoted in advance.

Define a task before choosing the tool.
