Understand the spend. Sustain the decisions.

Optimization does not start by cutting resources. It starts by understanding what supports operations, how costs are allocated and which changes can be evaluated while keeping performance and demand in view.

A shared view for IT and finance.

We analyze usage, cost allocation, resources and commitments in the agreed environment. The objective is to identify opportunities and organize decisions with context: what is used, what operations need and what an adjustment would involve. Priorities are reviewed with the team.

A project available on its own.

Assessment, implementation of agreed adjustments and knowledge transfer can form a standalone project. A monthly cloud management agreement is not required for optimization and training. Each proposal establishes scope, responsibilities and conditions.

  • Usage and cost information to review.
  • Opportunities and changes requiring approval.
  • Training applied to the team’s own environment.

Agree on a baseline before measuring savings.

We define a usage and cost baseline, the changes made and the comparison period. Changes in demand or configuration are also reviewed. This helps distinguish the effect of optimization from reduced usage or a change in operations.

Learn using your own infrastructure.

Training connects technical decisions with their economic impact. Documentation and knowledge transfer help the team understand what was reviewed, the criteria used and what remains outstanding. Training scope is specified according to the environment and participants.

Keep conditions clear.

Access, approvals and changes are agreed with infrastructure owners. We do not promise a savings percentage or present a proposal as a completed result. Ongoing management, when needed, has its own responsibilities and support levels.

Questions before we begin

What do you need to get started?

A conversation with IT about relevant workloads, architecture, priorities and spend. Information and review access are requested as needed to prepare the proposal.

Are savings guaranteed?

We do not set a savings figure without understanding the environment. Opportunities are evaluated and results compared against an agreed baseline, changes and period, considering demand and configuration.

Is training separate from monthly operations?

Training can form part of a standalone optimization project. Monthly management also includes FinOps within its scope, but it is a different service arrangement.
